Who We Are
The Parke Vermillion County Humane Society is a not-for-profit shelter that does not euthanize for space. Our organization is committed to the education of the public and the humane treatment of all animals, the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the importance of animal control through the promotion of spaying and neutering.
What We Do
We serve Parke and Vermillion counties in Indiana, taking in stray, lost and owner surrendered animals. We provide a safe haven for these animals until loving forever homes can be found. We also support the community by providing low-cost spay and neuter services, bi-annual vaccine clinics, health and behavioral advice for owned and adopted animals, and other assistance as needed.
All animals available for adoption have received their vaccinations, spayed or neutered, tested for heartworm and microchipped.
