Who We Are
The Marshall Food Disbursement Center (Food Pantry) and the Ministerial Alliance Clothing Shop (Clothing Pantry) are dedicated to supporting Clark Counties poor and working poor with both food and clothing. The food pantry provides no cost emergency food support to families who qualify under the Federal USDA guidelines for income and residency. Additionally, the center provides emergency support to the homeless, fire & flood victims, transients & highway breakdowns when needed and as requested by the Marshall Police Department. The center is a 501-c-3 charity and is operated 100% by volunteers i.e. no salaries are paid by the center.
What We Do
In 2017, Marshall Food Disbursement Center distributed more than 139,000 pounds of food to an average of approximately 190+ families monthly. The Ministerial Alliance Clothing Shop is dedicated to providing clothing and housewares at low to no cost. All funds received are used for the purchase of food that is distributed through the Food Pantry. In 2017, the center distributed approximately 190,000 items to approximately 11,000 shoppers.
