Do you have strong computer and communication skills? The American Red Cross is working around the clock to provide food, comfort and other emergency support to those affected by disasters. Common disasters to which we respond to happen right here in our own communities, floods and fires. Every day there are 2-3 home fires in Indiana and volunteers are needed to respond in person to provide comfort and meet disaster caused needs. All training is provided online, sign up for a minimum of two on-call shifts throughout a month that meet your schedule, and help your community! Are you 18 years or older and ready to respond? Systems include, (but are not limited to), Power Bi, Excel reports, and Red Cross applications. This volunteer should feel very comfortable with technology, as one of their main roles will be to help train fellow volunteers and provide assistance with troubleshooting.
