Clean Up with CANDLES! Is a morning filled with community members getting together to help beautify the area of the city surrounding CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center. Eva Kor herself will be present for a time to give her words of wisdom and support to those helping. Eva notable states that something as simple as picking up a pieces of trash can impact the world. We are asking many participants to help us clean up our community. We will be moving together as best as possible (depending upon size) to clean up debris and rubbish in surrounding areas. Participants will be given an official Clean Up with CANDLES! water bottle and planter as well as free admission to the museum following the clean up! Come and help us take pride and responsibility for our community!
We will be able to supply trash bags and disposable gloves. If anyone would like to bring their own gloves or grabbers, they are free to.
How does this project help?
CANDLES is dedicated to create an uplifting, safe, and clean community. Eva speaks frequently at our museum saying, "You do not need to do anything extraordinary to change the world, you can help by simply picking up a piece of trash." The beautification of the city will help everyone in the community and allow for a greater sense of pride and responsibility.
