Volunteers may assist in a number of ways:
- Work directly with patients and families by providing individual patient support/companionship
- Provide support at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care at Union Hospital
- Read to the patient
- Assist with administrative work such as answering the telephone, preparing new patient admission folders, restocking the family kitchen, etc.
Wherever your talents lie, The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care/Hospice of the Wabash Valley has a place for them. The Gibson Family Center is located in the West Building (Building 2) 5th Floor on the Union Hospital campus.
