Description

Volunteers will be helping the Vermillion Trails Alliance better establish the trail connecting the Parke/Vermillion Humane Shelter to the main Opedee Trail.  This will allow shelter staff and volunteers to walk dogs on longer, shaded walks on established trails.  Having trail walking experience will help in the dogs' adoptability.

Terrain is moderate with a hill and creek crossing.  We will be clearing and mulching parts of the trail and, hopefully, constructing a simple bridge to safely cross the creek.
