Who We Are
Mission:
To provide a neutral, child-friendly center to investigate alleged child abuse and neglect, while keeping the comfort and safety of the child the first priority.
Susie's Place currently has three locations - Avon, IN (2009), Bloomington, IN (2011), and Terre Haute, IN (2017) . To date, Susie's Place has conducted over 2,500 Child Forensic Interviews for over 20 Indiana counties.
What We Do
Susie's Place Child Advocacy Center embraces a multidisciplinary team approach to investigating alleged crimes against children and interviewing child witnesses to violent crimes. Our team consists of representatives from Law Enforcement, the Department of Child Services, Prosecutors, Victim Advocates, Mental Health, Medical, and Forensic Interviewers. At Susie's Place, we hope to effect positive change in the communities we serve and have a vision of strengthening communities' abilities to nurture and protect children.
Susie's Place relies on the support of the community to sustain our operations. Here are some items that we are currently in need of...

5) Individually Packaged Children's Snacks
6) Individually Packaged Children's Drinks

8) Postage Stamps
9) Gas Cards in $5-$10 increments
10) Batteries (all sizes including 9V)
Items that have already been graciously donated and we are no longer in need of:
• Televisions
• Crayons
• Coloring Books
• Copy Paper
• Desks
Susie’s Place is always in need of monetary donations or donation of gift cards to
Target, Walmart, Mendards, Office Depot, and Staples.
