Who We Are
Since 1965 Junior Achievement has been making a difference in the lives of Wabash Valley youth. JA programs support schools and educators by providing valuable kindergarten through high school classroom resources that are well-tested, hands-on programs taught by caring community and business volunteers. JA's programs focus on basic concepts of economics and show how education is relevant to the workplace. The sequential activities foster lifelong learning and help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their future. With a range of different programs, Junior Achievement teaches about concepts relating to entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness.
Effective July 1, 2016, Wabash Valley schools and students will be served by Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis. We welcome everyone who has been part of the successes in Wabash Valley. We are committed to serving the needs of the community, and will be working to make the transition smooth. We appreciate all you have done to support Junior Achievement over the years. Our programs are the same and our mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy is the same.
