Volunteers will be cleaning/removing undesirable parts from alpaca fleece.
We will meet you at White Violet Eco-justice Center on the grounds of the Sisters of Providence/Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
Here are directions from Terre Haute.
1. Go U.S. 41 (3rd Street) into Terre Haute.
2. At the Vigo County Courthouse, turn west onto U.S. 40 and proceed to W Terre Haute.
3. At the intersection of U.S. 40 and S.R. 150.go north (right) on S.R. 150 to St. Mary of the Woods.
4. You will pass a huge sign at St. Marys Road (on the left) that says Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and Mother house of the Sisters of Providence. (Do NOT turn at this sign.)
5. Turn left at the second sign about the Sisters of Providence and the college. It is a huge brown sign, and it reads... North Entrance Sisters of Providence Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College
6. Follow this road (Woods Way) through one stop sign until you come to a "T" in the road. (You cannot go straight, or you will be in the orchard.)
7. Turn left (at the "T"), and you will be on a road called Providence.
8. Go through one stop sign. (It will be a four way stop.)
9. Park in the parking lot on the right.
10. To the right of the parking lot you will see a huge white sign that reads "White Violet Center for Eco-justice." Go around to the front entrance of the building, and we will be waiting inside.
