Organic Garden Projects

Come help the Sisters of Providence with various projects at the Organic Gardens at White Violet for Eco-Justice! The White Violet Center for Eco-Justice at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, is a ministry of the Sisters of Providence where you'll find alpacas and a flock of laying chickens, a 5-acre USDA certified organic garden, orchards, bee hives, a Farm Store, and a nature trail. Assist with the garden this growing season!

Notes for getting to the location: using a GPS with the address provided (3907 US 150, West Terre Haute, IN 47885) will get you to the North Entrance of the campus (GPS does not work on campus). A big brown sign at this entrance says "North Entrance". At the North Entrance, you will see horses and a barn. Follow the signs to White Violet Center.  Once you enter the campus you will be on Northgate Road. Go through one stop sign until you come to a "T" in the road. Turn left at the "T" and you will be on Saint Joseph Lane. Then go through one four-way stop sign. Park in the large parking lot on the right. White Violet is on the west/right border of the parking lot.
