Daily Rescue Volunteers Needed
Love cats and want to make a direct impact in rescue? We are always looking for daily volunteers to help care for the many cats and kittens at OVFF. Volunteers begin every day at 9:00 AM. There is no need to sign up in advance — just come to the rescue and go to the back door of the red house.
Daily volunteer tasks may include: • Cleaning cages and kennels • Scooping and changing litter boxes • Refilling food and water bowls • Changing bedding and blankets • Sweeping and mopping floors • Laundry and general cleaning • Providing love, attention, socialization, and enrichment for the cats
This is hands-on rescue work and an important part of keeping our cats healthy, comfortable, and happy. Volunteers help make it possible for us to care for more than 200 cats and kittens during busy kitten season. No experience is necessary — just a willingness to help and compassion for animals. Whether you can come once or become a regular volunteer, we appreciate every helping hand. Come prepared to work, laugh, meet amazing cats, and make a real difference.
