Come help with clean up and beautification at Terre Haute Area Meals on Wheels! Volunteers will help remove evergreens from the front of the building and replace with Hostas and rock as well as level grassy areas around the building and fill those areas with rock. Volunteers will also help paint the building's meeting area, move shelving and install base molding around walls, dust canned goods in the storage room, seal the parking lot with driveway sealer, and paint new lines on the parking lots. Plastic gloves will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves if they would like thicker gloves, as well as bring a head covering, shovels, and a paint brush for trim.

United Way of the Wabash Valley and Maryland Community Church are partnering together for a fun volunteering event, Serve The Valley! Join us on July 23rd and/or 24th at any of the volunteer opportunities below. Most shifts run from 8:30 am -12 noon, but other shifts are available depending on the project.
Every volunteer is invited to join us each day for breakfast, sponsored by Elanco, at Maryland Community Church 46 Campus at 7:30 am. Each participant also receives a free t-shirt!
Please RSVP for breakfast and provide shirt sizes when you register for your project. T-shirts will be available for pick-up at breakfast or the week of the event at the United Way office at 100 S. 7th St, TH.
