The WILL Center is looking for a few more Leads to build ramps within the community.
We are looking for a few more Lead builders to volunteer their time to help out those in need gain access to the community. You do NOT have to be a professional builder to assemble these ramps, but we do want you to have some familiarity with building and working with the tools we use.
Must have/be able to
- Some carpentry skills (to trouble shoot during builds)
- Read ramp/stair design plans (our blue prints)
- Manage a small build team (keep them organized and utilized)
- Teach new volunteers
Builds are usually on Saturday mornings around 8am, but can be customized to fit the volunteers schedule. When you are brought onto the build team our experienced builders will train you on how our ramps are assembled before we set you out to lead your own team.
